Inside PowerPoint:

Templates:

Rehearsal:

PowerPoint also offers the rehearsal features which allow the user to make the practice of giving presentation in the prescribed time. The length of the time for each slide can be set.

Custom Animation:

Custom Animation is a set of effects which can be applied to objects in PowerPoint so that they will animate in the Slide Show.
You can apply three effects in PowerPoint presentation
that are entrance effect, Emphasis and exit effects.
Entrance effects are set to objects so that they enter with
animations during Slide Show. Emphasis effects animate
the objects on the spot. Exit effects allow objects to leave
the Slide Show with animations. Motion Paths allow objects

In this format, the animator can create a domain where the player chooses to go right or left, or pick up objects, and so forth. The process takes time, but is generally cheaper and easier than using multimedia software such as Adobe Flash.

Slideshow:

A slideshow is a display of a series of chosen images. Slideshows are conducted by a presenter using a carousel slide projector or an overhead projector or in more recent years, a computer running presentation software.
A well organized slideshow allows a presenter to lend visual images to an oral presentation. The old adage "A picture is worth a thousand words" holds true, in that a single image can save a presenter from speaking a paragraph of descriptive details.

ClipArt:

Many presentation programs come with pre-designed images (clip art)
and/or have the ability to import graphic images. Custom graphics
can also be created in other programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and then imported.
